Beyond the veil of a simple photographer and market mogul,
Bunnychan Farabee hides a tragic past and an uncertain future.
Ripped forcefully from her village in the Golmore Jungle by
Garleans at a young age, Faraebje has very little remembrance
or reverence for her childhood or Viera customs. While her memories
are shattered and unclear, she can clearly recall the day she showed
up in Ul’dah as an adolescent, covered in naught but bloody rags.In Thanalan's shining jewel, she lived as a street urchin with very
little at her disposal other than what she could beg, borrow...or steal.
However, she was eventually reformed by the Immortal Flames into
the craftswoman she is today, able to rise through the ranks of the
elite under her adapted city name "Farabee". Her growing status
attracted the attention of the shadow government of the city, the
Syndicate, who pressed her into service as a sleeper agent with
no other viable options. Her assignments required her to train
under a fellow indentured servant, a hardened Doman veteran
named Hikaru...who trained her in the arts of ninjutsu for protection
and gave her the affectionate nickname "Bunnychan" as her lover.Despite their growing kinship, calamitous events in Ul'dah led to
Hikaru's death. Her heart grew embittered, and though she served the
Sultansworn to end the Crystal Braves and assisted as a conjuror in
the Dragonsong War to heal the wounded, the abject pain of her beloved’s
loss led her back to mercenary work as an assassin during the Gyr
Abanian and Doman conflicts against the empire. Growing increasingly
despondent, her hopelessness almost caused her to take her own
life if not for the charity and good-natured spirits of the Namazu.Finally somewhat at peace with herself, Bunnychan retired from
the adventuring life to her passion for crafting and the free markets.
Most recently, she has picked up the art of photography, and has built
her own custom studio in the quiet suburbs of Shirogane as well as
taking on a permanent residence as venue photographer at the
acclaimed Red Moon nightclub....becoming a truly self-made woman
of multiple mediums.
